And not every kid is gonna be into art, but I feel like thinking creatively really does apply to anything you do in life. So even though we are offering art-based, design-based, fashion-, music-, film-based programs for the kids, I hope we teach an overall, creative, out-of-the-box way of thinking in all aspects of life. That can apply to any career a kid can take — banking, science. That’s what I think is the greatest loss of art classes being cut from school. It’s not just the art class you are missing but the more creative, free-form way of thinking to solve a problem.
